The Gators suffered their first loss of the season after opening with three victories. They stretched their winning streak to three by defeating host Patrick & Henry in four sets Saturday, Sept. 6. The Gators' second game of the tri-match at P&H was against Central Carolina Community College. The Gators lost that one in four sets after winning the opening set.

This week, they travel to Lenoir Community College in North Carolina for dual match Sept. 9 (5 p.m. start) and to Louisburg College on Saturday, Sept. 13 for a tri-match against the hosts (11 a.m.) and Forsyth Technical Community College (1 p.m.).
